SCYO’s in-person audition concluded on 6 November 2022. We are still open to receiving audition applications via video recordings.

Audition Fee
$25 per musician – non-refundable once application is submitted

Video audition
- Apply to audition as normal.
- Prepare the same audition requirements as above.
- Record your audition at home.
- Use wetransfer to send your video recording to audition@scyo.org.au.

Strings Audition Requirements
Amati
Musicians at Preliminary Grade and above are welcome to apply.
- Perform a solo piece (own choice) under 2 minutes.
Sinfonia
Musicians at AMEB Grade 2 and above are welcome to apply.
- Perform a solo/solo selection (own choice) under 2 minutes;
- Prepare the following excerpts:

Musicians at AMEB Grade 3 and above are welcome to apply.
- Perform 12-24 bars of own choice piece;
- Perform two-octave chromatic scale of own choice;
