Maria Salmon
Maria Salmon is a dedicated string teacher who has spent her career developing strings programs and music students in many schools and countries in which she has lived. Maria relocated to the Sunshine Coast with her family in 2011 and as Musical Director and Conductor is immensely excited to lead the Sunshine Coast Youth Orchestra. In 2016, Maria was awarded the Sunshine Coast Council’s Australia Day Cultural Award for her work with SCYO and the community.
