Emma Jimenez
Emma Jimenez is an Instrumental Music Multi-teacher with Education Queensland based on the Sunshine Coast, and has previously served as Head of Woodwind at both Brisbane Boys’ College and Villanova College. A highly respected educator and clinician, she was the conductor of the Young Conservatorium Wind Ensemble at Griffith University for over a decade, has regularly conducted ensembles within State Honours Ensemble Programs (SHEP), and has led workshops throughout Brisbane and regional Queensland. Emma has also lectured in undergraduate and postgraduate Instrumental Music Pedagogy at the Queensland Conservatorium and Griffith University’s Faculty of Education, and is deeply passionate about inspiring young musicians to see teaching as a fulfilling and richly rewarding career.
Jodie Lutherborrow
As an educator Jodie has worked in a variety of educational settings throughout Australia and abroad. She has travelled extensively in Australia, Asia and the United States as a conductor, working with outstanding elementary, high school, tertiary, community and professional ensembles. Jodie is a passionate advocate for lifelong learning and regularly attends and contributes to symposiums and music education clinics internationally. Jodie currently resides on the Sunshine Coast and is the Instrumental Music Coordinator at Chancellor State College.
