Esteemed Australian strings pedagogue Loreta Fin will be visiting and workshopping with our youngest musicians! This workshop is open for all primary-aged students at around AMEB Preliminary to Grade 2 level to participate. A fee of $10 applies for non-SCYO members. 8:30 am - Arrival and register 9:00 am - Workshop 10:15 am - Break
2 string quartets from the SCYO chamber strings will be performing as part of the Rising Stars Performance in the inaugural Sunshine Coast Chamber Music Festival. SCYO is looking forward to welcoming the Chamber Music Ensemble from St Peter's Lutheran College to the Sunshine Coast. They will be joining our Chamber Strings ensemble for a workshop on Brian Balmages' new piece 'All the Things'. There will be a free concert performance at 6:00pm.
